Job summary

University of Nottingham seeks a Research Associate/Fellow to join a new multi-disciplinary team developing PROBITY, a platform to rate organisms bred for improved traits and yield. The role focuses on applying social science methods to understand barriers to uptake in the UK.

You will work with Dr Stacia Stetkiewicz and BOFIN, liaise with stakeholders, and contribute to training and dissemination. Hybrid/remote options available for UK-based candidates.

Qualifications

• PhD in a relevant subject area or near completion.
• Experience with qualitative research collection and analysis.
• Knowledge or experience applying GDPR and Responsible Research and Innovation guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Apply social science methods to understand barriers to uptake of precision bred crops in the UK.
• Collaborate with Dr Stacia Stetkiewicz and BOFIN and liaise with stakeholders.
• Contribute to training and dissemination activities within a multidisciplinary team.
• Based at the University of Nottingham, with partners across the UK, and support hybrid/remote working for UK-based candidates.
