Position: Social Sciences Teacher
Location: West Bromwich
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Full-time, MPS/UPS pay structure

Are you a passionate Social Sciences Teacher looking for a full-time position from January 2025? If so, please contact me immediately. The post has an immediate start, and continue as a 1 year maternity cover, with the possibility for extension. As a Social Sciences Teacher, you\'ll be responsible for teaching the Social Sciences, including Psychology and Sociology.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons to KS4 and KS5
  • Take on full responsibilities including planning and marking in both subjects
  • Collaborate with a small and supportive department to foster a stimulating learning environment and drive interest in Social Sciences
  • Ensure a safe, conducive environment where students can thrive personally and academically
Qualifications
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • A genuine passion for education and the Social Sciences
  • Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to student success
