We re working closely with a high-achieving secondary school in the Medway area that is seeking a Social Sciences Teacher to join their supportive and ambitious team. About the Role
As a Social Sciences Teacher, you ll deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 4 and 5. You ll support students in developing analytical thinking, real-world understanding, and exam confidence helping them grow both academically and personally.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced educator or an enthusiastic ECT looking to grow in a nurturing and forward-thinking environment.

What You ll Be Doing

  • Teaching one or more Social Science subjects (e.g. Psychology, Sociology, Health & Social Care)

  • Planning and delivering creative, inclusive lessons that inspire student curiosity

  • Preparing learners for GCSE and A-Level assessments

  • Supporting academic progress and pastoral wellbeing

  • Collaborating with a dedicated department and wider school staff

What We re Looking For

  • QTS or equivalent, with specialism in Social Sciences

  • Experience teaching KS4/KS5 (A-Level experience desirable but not essential)

  • Passionate about your subject and committed to student progress

  • Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills

  • ECTs are welcome to apply support and mentorship available
