Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Social Science Teacher to join our partnered secondary school in Birmingham. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of social science subjects, including Health and Social Care, Psychology, and Sociology, and a commitment to fostering critical thinking and engagement among students.

Key Responsibilities

1. Teach a range of lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
2. Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and assessments
3. Promote a positive learning environment and encourage student participation
4. Stay updated with curriculum standards and best teaching practices

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Science, Education, or related field
• Qualified teaching status (QTS)
• Previous teaching experience at KS3 level and above required
• Strong communication and organisational skills

Pay rates quoted are inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, with the possibility of becoming permanent later.
