Social Science Teacher - Tamworth Area
Location: Tamworth, Staffordshire
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-Time | Long-Term (Until July 2026)

A secondary school in the Tamworth area is seeking a passionate and versatile Social Science Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This is a full-time role for the full academic year, with the potential for a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities:

- Teach Social Sciences such as Sociology, Psychology, and Health & Social Care (depending on timetable and experience)
- Deliver well-planned, engaging lessons to KS4 and KS5 students
- Monitor and assess pupil progress effectively
- Contribute to the wider success of the department and school

Ideal Candidate:

- QTS/QTLS or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching one or more Social Science subjects at secondary or sixth-form level
- Excellent subject knowledge and strong classroom management
- A passion for helping students understand people, society, and behaviour
