An established educational institution is seeking Social Programme Assistants to enrich the experience of international students. This role involves accompanying student groups on excursions and events, ensuring their safety and enjoyment while exploring the cultural heritage of Edinburgh and Scotland. Each summer Edinburgh College welcomes international students aged 16 and over from all over the world to take part in English Language and English Language Teacher Training courses. Students study for between 2 and 8 weeks and take part in social programme events taking them on guided visits within the city and beyond. The Social Programme gives students the opportunity to visit some of the historical and cultural attractions in Edinburgh and Scotland and includes a wide range of activities that take place during weekday afternoons and evenings, in addition to full-day excursions on Saturdays.
The College requires Social Programme Assistants to accompany student groups on excursions and to events. Other tasks such as airport collections and/or helping with student inductions may be required.

Applicants will be required to complete a PVG check and to undertake safeguarding training.
Applications will be considered from candidates wishing to work less than 16 hours per week.
