Your new role
Are you a content creator with a love of podcasts, a passion for news and a flair for making engaging social media content? If you thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, where your organisational skills will be as valued as your creative thinking, this role is for you.
As Social Producer
You will work closely with audio producers and the podcast video team to create content that drives engagement, builds audience, and amplifies the impact of Global’s slate of original podcasts.
Generating fresh and exciting ideas for assets and short form video, you will develop and execute social media strategies for podcasts across both the factual and entertainment & comedy divisions. This role requires a blend of creativity, analytical skills, and a strong understanding of current social media trends.
Content Creation and Planning (60%): Create a schedule of engaging visual content for Global’s original podcasts to help audiences discover our podcasts.
Shoots (20%): Together with the podcast video team, work with presenters, producers and video editors to create visual content for our social media platforms.
Analysis (20%): Use analytics to provide feedback to relevant teams and improve output of content.
Think Big: Work with one of UK’s biggest media companies and a podcast team that reaches 50 million listeners each month.
Own It: Develop winning content ideas that drive engagement, channel growth and podcast loyalty.
Keep it Simple: Join a team with a deep understanding and passion for digital content and building audience.
