Role Overview:
As a Social Media & Partnerships Manager, reporting to the Head of Brand Marketing, you will oversee our social media channels, content strategy, and influencer relationships. The role requires creativity, analytical skills, organization, and strong networking abilities. A deep understanding of social media platforms, trends in endurance sports, and content creator profiles is essential, along with the ability to evaluate performance and drive organic growth.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with brand goals.
- Manage content calendars and coordinate launches and campaigns.
- Drive brand awareness and engagement.
- Analyze social metrics and optimize performance.
- Collaborate with design, marketing, and product teams.
- Implement social listening tools and monitor brand sentiment.
- Share insights to inform product and brand strategies.
- Lead social performance reviews with senior leadership.
Content & Storytelling:
- Oversee creation of social content reflecting brand values.
- Maintain consistent tone of voice and brand identity.
- Identify trends and incorporate them into content.
- Leverage UGC and community initiatives.
- Tailor content for each platform (Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Manage freelance content creators and coordinate shoots.
- Develop test-and-learn initiatives for new content formats.
- Align social storytelling with broader campaigns and PR.
- Collaborate with email marketing to integrate social stories.
- Support live activations and events with real-time coverage.
Media Partnerships:
- Develop strategic media partnerships and collaborations.
- Manage influencer and ambassador relationships.
- Negotiate deliverables and track ROI.
- Support budgeting for influencer campaigns.
Line Management:
- Supervise the Social Media Executive.
- Implement growth initiatives and manage content scheduling.
- Evaluate influencer and ambassador performance.
- Oversee gifting and seeding programs.
- Create guidelines for ambassadors and creators.
- Monitor community comments and manage customer service issues.
Paid Social:
- Coordinate with paid social teams for integrated campaigns.
- Support testing and optimization efforts.
- Own successes and learnings, with a proactive approach.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years managing social media and influencer strategies, preferably in DTC or active lifestyle brands.
- Deep knowledge of social platforms and content trends.
- Strong creative and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and copywriting skills.
- Self-motivated, collaborative, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
