• Job type: Full-time, 18-month fixed-term contract with possibility to extend.
• Hours: 35 hours per week (open to job share applications, flexible working options available).
• Location: Congress House, London WC1B 3LS. We have a flexible working policy with most staff working from the office at least 50% of the time.

Role Overview

Can you create impactful, viral content to help us advocate for working people?

The TUC is seeking a dynamic Social Media Officer to join our leading social media team.

This role involves creating innovative, viral content that promotes our progressive values and enhances our campaigns for working people.

Our content reaches millions, attracts national media attention, and engages politicians, influencers, and decision-makers.

What We Are Looking For

• You are a self-starter capable of generating ideas for viral content and preparing posts for release.
• You stay informed about viral trends elsewhere and know how to leverage them.
• You are open-minded, collaborative, and passionate about promoting trade unions and campaigning for working people.
