About Us

Snappy Shopper is the market leader in the growing Q-commerce convenience grocery sector, worth £41b in the UK. In addition to our independent retailers, we serve most of the major convenience store players, including Spar, Nisa, Premier and Booker.

Snappy exists to enable local high street businesses to serve their customers online so that local communities thrive, and revenue stays local. Retailers have seen revenue uplifts of between £5k and £120k per month, making the platform mission critical to local business.

Our location

We are a Scottish start-up with 130 colleagues based around the UK with offices in Dundee and Edinburgh.

This is a hybrid role. You’ll have the flexibility to work remotely, with the expectation of being in our Edinburgh orDundee office twice a week. If you’re based nearby and want to be in more often — great. If you’re further afield but can travel weekly, that works too. We trust you to choose what setup helps you do your best work.

About the team

You’ll be part of our Central Marketing team — the driving force behind the digital growth of our independent retailers. We work with retailers across the UK to create standout, scalable marketing campaigns that make a real difference.

You’ll report to the Marketing Director and work closely with our performance, creative, and growth teams to deliver best-in-class campaigns. As we grow, you'll help shape the future of social media marketing at Snappy — and play a key role in supporting others as the function scales.

About the Role

You’ll be responsible for planning, delivering, and optimising paid and organic social media campaigns across platforms like Facebook, TikTok, and Instagram. You'll help us build a library of high-performing, repeatable campaigns that drive traffic, engagement, and sales.

To be successful in this role, you’ll be able to balance creative flair with performance insight, confidently manage multiple campaigns at once, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure everything we deliver is aligned, on-brand, and impactful.

You’ll also be the go-to person for campaign reporting, trend spotting, and community management — turning data into insight and ideas into results.

About You

To do this job well, you’ll need hands-on experience running social media campaigns (both paid and organic), solid knowledge of platforms like Meta Ads Manager, and a performance mindset. You should feel confident briefing creative teams, interpreting results, and managing multiple projects at pace.

Ideally, you’ll also have experience working in multi-channel digital marketing, knowledge of the convenience or retail sector, and a strong grasp of tools like GA4, UTM tagging, and pixel tracking. Experience with influencer marketing or working alongside local businesses is a bonus — but not essential.
