About the Role:

As the Social Media Executive, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing social media strategy across various platforms, with a strong focus on engaging B2B audiences. You will create compelling content, including video, manage online communities, analyse performance, and ensure social media activities align seamlessly with our overall marketing and business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with company objectives.
2. Manage day-to-day activities across all relevant social media channels.
3. Create, curate, and schedule engaging, high-quality content (text, images, and video) tailored to audiences and specific platforms.
4. Plan, shoot, and edit short-form videos suitable for social media platforms.
5. Monitor social media trends, competitor activities, and industry conversations to identify opportunities.
6. Analyse social media metrics, generate reports, and provide insights to optimise performance and demonstrate ROI.
7. Engage with online communities, respond to comments and messages professionally, and foster positive relationships.
8. Collaborate closely with marketing, sales, and other internal teams to ensure brand consistency and campaign alignment.
9. Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices, technologies, and platform updates.

About You:

1. Proven experience within Social Media marketing, with demonstrable success.
2. Strong understanding of social media strategy development and implementation for lead generation and brand building.
3. Excellent content creation skills, with a strong portfolio showcasing social media work.
4. Proficiency in video editing software.
5. In-depth knowledge of key social media platforms.
6. Experience using social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, platform analytics).
7. Ideally, though not essentially, experience of B2B Social Media Marketing.
8. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights.
9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
10. Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
11. Based within a commutable distance of Leicester.
