This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at the highly anticipated NYX Hotel Edinburgh, an innovative lifestyle hotel concept set to open in the heart of the city. NYX Hotels, part of the Leonardo Hotels brand, offer a unique, stylish experience that celebrates the vibe and culture of their location.

As the Social Media and Marketing Executive, you will oversee the organic social strategy, marketing campaigns, and PR initiatives for NYX Hotel Edinburgh, with a special focus on launching a vibrant new restaurant and bar concept. We are looking for a proactive, creative, and ambitious individual with a passion for social media, events, and brand development.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the story of one of Edinburgh’s most exciting new destinations.

Key Responsibilities Of The Social Media & Marketing Executive

  • End-to-end organic social media management for NYX Hotel Edinburgh including strategy development, content planning, content creation, community management, publishing, and performance review.
  • Regular content ideation and creation for the channels: from shooting Reels to creating graphics and sharing Stories.
  • Writing appropriate and engaging copy for social media.
  • Community management and engagement (not including customer service queries).
  • Working on various marketing projects outside of social, including PR activations and creating collateral for the hotel.
  • Develop and execute targeted social media and marketing campaigns to create excitement and buzz around the opening of the restaurant and bar concept.
  • Work closely with the General Manager, Head Chef, and PR teams to align marketing efforts with operational goals and deliver a cohesive brand story.
Our Ideal Social Media & Marketing Executive Will Have

  • Knowledge of social platforms and their algorithms including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok.
  • A vibrant flair for content creation, specifically for social media.
  • The ability to work cross-functionally with different teams to achieve shared objectives.
  • A strategically-minded approach with the view to bring the social channels to new heights!
  • Strong ability to work independently and be comfortable working within a dispersed team.
  • Previous experience in a social media or marketing role, ideally within the hospitality or lifestyle sectors.
