Our global community has grown to over 57,500 Volunteers across 146 countries, helping hundreds of startups—primarily in the UK and USA—scale sustainably.About the OpportunitySkilledUp Life is seeking a creative and driven Social Media Manager (Twitter) to lead the platform’s engagement, reach, and conversations on X (formerly Twitter). This role is ideal for someone with a flair for short-form writing, a finger on the pulse of trending conversations, and a passion for startup culture.You’ll help increase visibility for SkilledUp Life, promote volunteer and startup success stories, and engage with the startup and tech ecosystem globally.Activities

  • Draft and post engaging tweets, threads, and real-time responses.
  • Monitor trending hashtags and inject SkilledUp Life into relevant conversations.
  • Schedule and track post performance via social media tools.
  • Create short visuals or coordinate with design team for graphics.
  • Engage with founders, partners, volunteers, and industry influencers.
  • Amplify content and announcements in line with strategic campaigns.

Requirements

  • Familiar with Twitter culture, etiquette, and fast-paced engagement.
  • Excellent short-form writing and editing skills.
  • Creative thinker who can translate ideas into high-impact tweets.
  • Organized with attention to timing, tone, and consistency.
  • Previous experience with social media tools is a plus.

Duration

  • 3 hrs. per day Monday to Friday
  • 60 Volunteer Days over 3+ months
  • Part-time
  • Fully remote
