Our global community has grown to over 57,500 Volunteers across 146 countries, helping hundreds of startups—primarily in the UK and USA—scale sustainably.About the OpportunityWe are seeking a dedicated Social Media Manager (LinkedIn) to help drive SkilledUp Life’s presence, engagement, and growth on LinkedIn. You will be responsible for managing our LinkedIn presence, including curating and scheduling posts, building engagement, and contributing to brand awareness among professionals, founders, and startup teams.This is a unique opportunity to gain specialized experience in LinkedIn growth strategies while contributing to a mission-driven tech platform.Activities

  • Plan, draft, and schedule posts using LinkedIn-native tools or publishing platforms.
  • Build engagement through replies, resharing, and thoughtful commentary.
  • Create visually engaging posts in collaboration with design or content teams.
  • Track performance metrics and optimize posts based on engagement.
  • Research trends and conversations relevant to startups, tech, and careers.
  • Support campaigns promoting volunteer stories, events, and startup collaborations.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of LinkedIn’s platform, algorithms, and user behavior.
  • Excellent written communication and content planning skills.
  • Passion for startups, tech, and professional development.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain a consistent posting calendar.
  • Previous experience managing LinkedIn pages or groups is a plus.

Duration

  • 3 hrs. per day Monday to Friday
  • 60 Volunteer Days over 3+ months
  • Part-time
  • Fully remote

Acquired Skills

  • Specialized social media experience with a focus on LinkedIn.
  • Content strategy and community building in a B2B setting.
  • Data-driven decision-making based on post performance.
  • Familiarity with brand voice and professional engagement.
