The position

Based from our London office (Fitzrovia), we are looking for a creative but also highly analytical Social Media Manager , to develop a comprehensive social media strategy and create and manage the brand’s online voice and image.

You will lead all of Lingo’s social media platforms, contributing to increasing awareness and knowledge of Lingo products and services in our target audiences. You will develop and implement the social media and influencer strategy and will conduct tasks according to a full social media calendar that is built around organically created content. You will lead the day-to-day management of our social media platforms, monitor online discussions in a timely manner, track performance and report on KPIs, and make recommendations for optimization and expansion to new social media platforms. You will create and publish high-quality, engaging content in line with the brand on all media platforms and review social media and other marketing metrics using analytical tools (e.g. Sprinklr) to build and improve campaign strategies and craft responses to customers’ feedback and messages on various platforms. You will also work closely with the UK Head of Marketing and Public Affairs to ensure messaging and content alignment, and fulfil due process to meet medical, regulatory, legal and compliance requirements, as well as collaborating with external agency partners to amplify Lingo’s social media efforts aligned with brand deliverables.

What you’ll need

  • Prior experience in social media management, preferably in the health-tech, wellness, fin-tech, medical device or other highly regulated sector, with an understanding of compliance requirements.
  • Proven experience in managing social media teams and working with external agencies.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and analytic tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and ability to collaborate effectively with varied teams.
  • Ability to create and manage a content calendar, with a focus on high engagement and driving sales.
  • Experience with influencer marketing, social media advertising, and budget management.
  • Knowledge of the health and medical industry, particularly in wearable technology, is a strong plus.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and building online communities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines, with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Analytical; able to identify key insights and optimize social campaigns based on results.
  • Sound judgment and problem-solving skills.
