Job summary

King is seeking a hands-on Social Media Manager to bring our social strategy to life across King’s portfolio, with an initial focus on Candy Crush. You’ll manage the day-to-day social delivery plan, ensuring content is planned, briefed and delivered across Facebook and Instagram.

Based in London within King Central Marketing, you’ll work with Brand Communications, agencies and creators to develop platform-native content, optimize performance and nurture audience engagement year-round.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience managing organic social channels for consumer brands or agencies.
• Strong knowledge of Meta platforms and short-form content.
• Creative/editorial judgement for platform-native content.
• Experience briefing and coordinating agencies, studios, creators, or production partners.
• Strong organisational and project-management skills across deadlines and stakeholders.
• Ability to use social performance data to improve reach and engagement.
• Understanding of US social media culture and audience trends.
• Interest in entertainment, gaming, creators and popular culture.

Responsibilities

• Translate Social and Brand Communications direction into quarterly/monthly delivery plans.
• Own an integrated social calendar for always-on content and campaigns.
• Lead day-to-day delivery of King’s owned social channels (Candy Crush focus on Facebook/Instagram).
• Coordinate platform-native content with in-house Marketing Studio, agencies and creators.
• Work with agency partners to refine ideas for brand and audience fit.
• Apply brand editorial framework and adapt content to platform behavior.
• Review content and provide feedback on quality, fit and cultural relevance.
• Coordinate approvals, scheduling, publishing, rights, and paid amplification.
