What’s the role?

We’re hiring for a Social Media Manager to support our organic social team at Wise for a 12-month fixed contract.

Do you know how to create content that will stop people in their scroll, comment, engage, and DM with friends in specific markets?

This team manages Wise’s strategy and presence on organic social channels to attract new audiences and drive customer growth. The role requires experience in growing local channels in Australia, Canada, and the US, with an understanding of what makes content shareable for these markets.

You will support the team lead in scaling our presence and strategy by building and growing new localised channel pages.

Our vision is to be the most fun and entertaining finance brand on social media.

Your mission

• Support the organic social team lead in strategy development and execution in key English-speaking markets
• Grow visibility, engagement, and audiences for new platform pages in key markets
• Create highly localised relevant content for Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok
• Coordinate with other teams on regional campaigns, making decisions on social activation and execution
• Collaborate on monthly reports to track performance and narrative
• Work with content creators to ensure alignment with Wise’s brand and core values

Qualifications

• Stay updated with social trends and react quickly to relevant moments
• Proven experience in creating and executing strategies that increase reach and engagement
• Strong knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other major platforms
• Experience with content creation tools like Figma
• Experience with video editing tools like Capcut or Premiere Pro is a plus
• Excellent at creating punchy and engaging copy
