Job summary

Cancer Research UK is seeking an experienced Social Media Manager to drive integrated campaigns, create compelling organic content, and optimise paid social strategies across major platforms. This role reports to the Senior Social Media Manager and sits in the PIC Directorate.

The ideal candidate will manage 35 hours per week on a hybrid basis in Stratford, lead a small team, and collaborate with stakeholders across campaigns and external partners to maximise engagement and impact.

£43,000 - £47,000 plus benefits

Reports to: Senior Social Media Manager

Directorate: PIC

Contract: Fixed Term Contract (18 months)

Hours: 35 hours per week

Location: Stratford, with high flexibility (1-2 days per week in the office)

This role includes participation in a rotating out-of-hours support rota (typically3-4evening or weekend shifts per month) and occasional attendance at external events and offsite shoots throughout the year.
