Role Overview
We’re seeking a creative, hands-on Social Media Manager to take ownership of our brand storytelling across key social platforms. This role isn’t just about scheduling posts - it’s about crafting compelling content, building genuine connections, and organically growing our brand. You’ll work closely with our founders to bring the spirit of Marloe to life in the digital world.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Creation - Confident behind the camera and skilled with editing tools, consistently capturing and producing compelling content that brings our brand story to life across social platforms.
- Content Planning - Develop and execute a strategic content calendar across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest and YouTube, aligned with our brand values and commercial goals.
- Storytelling - Share the people, process and philosophy behind Marloe Watch Company through engaging, authentic content that reflects our voice and values.
- Community Management - Build and nurture an active, loyal community by responding to comments, DMs and user-generated content, and by proactively engaging with relevant accounts.
- Growth & Performance - Grow our organic reach and following through intelligent content strategy, platform-specific optimisation, and regular analysis of performance.
- Campaign Support - Collaborate with the team on product launches, campaigns, events and partnerships, delivering content that amplifies impact.
- Trend Awareness - Stay on top of platform changes and industry trends to ensure Marloe remains fresh, relevant and ahead of the curve.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience managing and growing brand social media accounts, ideally in a lifestyle, design or product-led company.
- Confidence behind a camera or phone – able to shoot, edit and publish high-quality photo and video content.
- Outstanding storytelling skills - visual and written - with a keen eye for detail and tone.
- Analytical mindset - comfortable reviewing insights and adapting strategy based on performance.
- Proactive, self-starting attitude with a desire to make things better.
Desirable but not essential
- Experience working in premium or heritage brands.
- Experience in ecommerce or small business environment.
- Familiarity with tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Meta Business Suite, and Google Marketing Platform.
- An interest in watches.
