Role Summary
As the Group Social Media Manager at Sumwon Studios, you will manage the development and
execution of social media strategies across our dynamic portfolio of fashion brands. With a focus on innovation and disruption, you’ll create bold, attention-grabbing content, cultivate highly engaged communities, and drive both brand awareness and loyalty. This pivotal and creative role sits at the intersection of marketing, content, and culture - playing a key part in shaping the voice and growth of an incredibly fast-moving, forward-thinking business.
Key Responsibilities
● Develop and implement social media strategies for each brand under Sumwon Studios,
aligned with their brand identity, target audience, and the wider business objectives.
● Lead and manage a team of four, supporting their professional development and delivery of
key objectives (OKRs).
● Collaborate with and brief the Social & Content team to create and curate high-quality,
on-brand content that aligns with product messaging - including the development of assets
specifically tailored for paid advertising campaigns.
● Drive the growth of channels across multiple brands, ensuring alignment with defined
performance targets.
● Manage and grow emerging incubator brands directly with the ability to put your stamp on the
content and lead by example of what good looks like.
● Champion a forward-thinking and disruptive content strategy across brands, staying attuned
to emerging trends, algorithm updates, and industry best practices.
● Use data to inform content decisions - track performance, optimise content, and report on
KPIs on a weekly and monthly basis across brands.
● Collaborate with the team to plan and execute social content shoots, managing the process
from concept to final delivery.
● Plan and maintain content calendars, ensuring consistency across platforms.
● Work with the internal creative team and external collaborators (Content Creators, AI / CSI
designers etc.) to source or produce content.
● Partner with the broader marketing and product teams to execute brand campaigns and
ensure effective delivery across social channels.
What We’re Looking For
● 4-5+ years of experience in a social media role, ideally in e-commerce, fashion, or lifestyle
sectors.
● Highly creative and forward-thinking approach to content, driven by a genuine passion for
standing out and cutting through the noise.
● Strong visual eye and understanding of aesthetics across different brand DNAs.
● Proven experience managing a team, with strong leadership and communication skills.
● Deep knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and emerging platforms.
● Photo/video editing skills (Adobe Suite, CapCut, Canva).
● Graphic design skills (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) are a strong plus.
● Experience using analytics tools (Meta Business Suite, TikTok Analytics, etc.)
