POSITION SUMMARY

As the Social Media Manager, you are responsible for the day-to-day running’s of all our social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Linked In, Facebook etc.) as well as assisting in creative campaigns from curation to execution. This role involves working collaboratively and alongside our Creative Director for NEER but also working independently to ensure that all social media channels are running smoothly.

You will assist on as well as lead tasks in various creative areas including BTS Content, Daily Vlogs, Content for our Events, Increasing audience engagement, as well as other areas. You will also create weekly performance reviews of all our social media content.

HOURS & DAYS

This is a part-time role, working 4 days per week. Monday through Thursday, with the Creative Directors ability to alternate a day with advance warning (Due to events or specific campaigns).

The hours are from 9am – 5pm EST. Beginning the day with a morning check in call or meeting and ending the day with a daily round up if remote, with both meetings taking place also in person when working together.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

CREATIVITY –We are ultimately looking for somebody that oozes creativity, you will heavily influence ideas, and the creative processes used to create our campaigns for NEER and digital media content. You will also be able to come up with creative events and PR strategy that be suit the brands and businesses we are working with.

COMMUNICATION –Our Creative Director will be working between our London office, New York and now Los Angeles,travelling between the three to ensure NEER’s creative teams are running smoothly. You will be one of the main port of calls, the eyes and the ears for when our Creative Director is out of the city. You will have to communicate any issues or problems as well as fulfil any in personnel duties with clients needed.

PERFORMANCE ANALYTICS –You will have a good understanding of what is working well for NEER’s Social Media Channels and be able to create weekly performance reviews.

BRAND MANAGEMENT –You will work closely with our brand partnerships team as well as our events and logistic co-ordinator, in frequent contact digitally and in person, when necessary, as well as keeping up to date with the latest trends and maintaining influencer relationships.

ORGANISATION– As mentioned, our Creative Director will not always be on hand physically, you will have the ability to organise and orchestrate social media campaigns and shoot content as well as keep on track with posting on NEER’s social media channels.

MUST HAVES

2+ Years Minimum experience working as a Social Media Manager

Excellent understanding of the UK & US Social Media Market

Advanced editing skills and knowledge of all Adobe Creative Cloud Software

Good Technical knowledge of how to operate filming equipment

Valid UK Driver’s License

Well Versed in Hoot Suite & Social Media Analytics

The Ability to Travel outside of the UK (New York & Los Angeles)

A working laptop that can edit high quality content and can handle the necessary software provided

EXPECTATIONS

At NEER we have an expectation and mutual understanding to respect our colleagues and work collaboratively. You will be under the management of our Creative Director for NEER Technologies Limited, this means you will respond to them for guidance on day-to-day tasks, and when geographically possible work collaboratively.

It is expected that when our Creative Director is in London that we ask you to be available to work in any location alongside them in the city. Otherwise, Remote working from home or a suitable location is expected for this role.
