The purpose of this role is to deliver the Social and Content Strategy, managing social media channels and content streams, reporting to the Social and Content Manager or Head of Digital Marketing.

Job Description:

Introduction

Our Social Media and Community Management team works with a broad range of big-name brands. We help clients manage their organic social channels, including trust & safety, content management, and platform/tech management. We collaborate closely with other dentsu teams and external agencies, such as Paid Social, Strategy, Creative, and Insights.

Our Social Media Managers oversee the daily operations of clients’ social media channels and communities, ensuring high standards and providing support for moderation and engagement teams. They serve as the central link between the client, community, and moderation team.

Purpose of the Role

If you are passionate about social media and stay updated with the latest trends, you will champion our work within dentsu and support our clients with your knowledge. You should be proactive and adaptable, with the flexibility to work outside office hours when needed.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Set up and implement social media management projects with moderation, engagement, and outreach teams.
  2. Lead and quality-assure project teams across social media platforms and bespoke communities.
  3. Liaise with client teams, acting as their eyes and ears on social media.
  4. Provide insights on audience interaction and contribute to content creation and planning.
  5. Manage content calendars and publishing schedules, advising clients on best practices.
  6. Present in and occasionally lead client status meetings.

What you’ll bring

  • Experience managing and hosting social media channels for brands, creating reports, and managing teams, with familiarity with social media tools and Meta Business Suite.
  • Technical knowledge of managing pages on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and X/Twitter.
  • Understanding of online moderation, trust & safety, safeguarding, escalation, and team process management.
  • Knowledge of how brands use engagement, outreach, and tone of voice to grow channels.
  • Experience extracting and interpreting data from social platforms and third-party tools to generate insights; strong planning skills.
