Social Media Manager

• Content Creation: Develop, curate, and manage engaging and high-quality content for various social media platforms, including text, images, videos, and infographics.
• Community Management: Foster and grow online communities by engaging with followers, responding to comments and messages, and monitoring conversations about the brand.
• Analytics and Reporting: Track and analyse the performance of social media campaigns using analytics tools, and provide regular reports with insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and manage social media advertising campaigns to increase reach, engagement, and conversions.
• Trend Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices, and incorporate them into the strategy as appropriate.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, PR, and content teams to ensure cohesive brand messaging and to support cross-functional initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of the Afro/Textured hair market
• US market experience is a plus
• Experience in content creation around the Afro/Textured hair market
• Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and others.
• Strong understanding of social media metrics and analytics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Creative thinking and ability to generate innovative ideas.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience with social media advertising and campaign management.
• Proficiency in graphic design and video editing tools is a plus.
