Job Description:
In this role, you will take the lead in managing the social media presence, creating and publishing engaging content, collaborating across teams, and using your creativity to grow our customers audience and bring the brand to life.
- Manage and evolve the organic social media strategy across key platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube
- Plan and maintain a content calendar aligned with brand campaigns, seasonal moments, and customer journeys
- Create and publish engaging content, including photography, reels, graphics, and captions
- Collaborate with internal teams and external creatives to produce high-quality visual assets and short-form videos
- Ensure all content aligns with brand values, tone of voice, and campaign objectives across touchpoints
- Monitor social trends, competitor activity, and platform updates to keep content relevant and engaging
- Curate, repurpose, and manage user-generated content to enhance authenticity and brand trust
- Develop and maintain partnerships with influencers and content creators
- Support paid social campaigns and collaborate with the customer service team to manage community engagement
- Report regularly on social media performance, using insights to optimise future content and drive KPIs
Experience required:
- MUST HAVE SMM EXPERIENCE IN HOTELS, TRAVEL, AIRLINES OR CRUISE
- Strong storytelling skills with a flair for engaging, visual content
- Confident using Canva, Adobe Suite, CapCut or similar tools
- Proactive and personable when creating authentic content with others
- Familiar with Meta Business Suite and social media scheduling tools
- Able to use analytics to guide decisions and show results
- Skilled at writing clear, on-brand copy without AI support
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and deadlines
- Genuine passion for travel and sharing it with others
- Must have experience creating content for varied audiences
