Job description

Are you an experienced Social Media Manager ready to transform educational content into engaging, scroll-stopping storytelling?

A leading edtech company is looking for a creative and strategic Social Media Manager to help bring their educational products to life across digital platforms. In this role, you'll take the lead on building and managing communities of parents and educators, creating impactful content, and working closely with influencers and partners to grow reach and engagement.

This is a hybrid role based in London (2 days in-office), suited to someone passionate about education, design, and video content and confident using AI tools and social listening to optimise results.

What you'll be doing:

Content Creation and Scheduling

  • Plan, design, and manage content calendars across Meta, X, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Pinterest
  • Create high-quality video content using tools like CapCut, Canva, and Opus
  • Craft compelling copy and ensure consistent tone of voice across platforms using tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Hootsuite AI
  • Work alongside the TikTok and paid ads manager to align messaging and amplify campaigns

Community Management and Influencer Engagement

  • Manage and grow online communities of parents and educators
  • Monitor and respond to comments to boost engagement and community loyalty
  • Collaborate with influencers directly or via platforms such as Social Snowball and Club to equip them with the right messaging and assets

Campaign and Brand Support

  • Support the wider marketing team with campaign rollouts and product launches
  • Maintain brand visual identity across posts, incorporating trends and best practices in design
  • Analyse performance using Hootsuite’s social listening tools to refine strategy

What we're looking for:

  • At least 4 years’ experience managing social media channels in a commercial or educational context
  • Strong community-building and audience engagement skills
  • Background in or passion for educational products or services
  • Skilled in using Hootsuite (or similar), Canva, CapCut, Opus, and social media analytics tools
  • Excellent writing skills with a strong grasp of tone and platform-specific language
  • Confident working with AI tools to boost creative output and speed
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
  • Experience using ClickUp is also an advantage
