A leading company is seeking a Social Media Manager to enhance their brand's online presence. The role involves developing creative strategies for content amplification and audience engagement across various platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital marketing and community management, with proficiency in content creation tools. This position offers a dynamic environment where creativity and strategic thinking are paramount.
As the Social Media Manager, you will be the driving force behind the brand’s social presence. You will develop and execute creative strategies to amplify content, increase audience engagement, and grow online communities. Working with a wide variety of programming – including comedy, lifestyle, politics, pop culture, relationships, and more – you’ll lead the creation and curation of content across key social platforms.
This is a hands-on role that requires a sharp editorial eye, video and graphic content creation skills, and an intuitive understanding of what drives engagement in the digital space.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily output across social platforms: Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, and YouTube
Create compelling visual content including graphics, memes, and short-form videos using tools like Canva, Premiere Pro, or mobile editing apps
Identify and leverage trending topics, memes, and cultural moments to enhance relevance
Build and nurture a loyal online community through timely responses and proactive engagement
Collaborate with producers, presenters, and creatives to align social output with live and on-demand programming
Monitor performance using analytics tools and report on campaign effectiveness and growth metrics
Support with paid campaign strategy and reporting
The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on – someone who thrives in a fast-paced creative environment and has a deep understanding of internet culture and digital audiences.
What We’re Looking For:
Degree in Digital Marketing, Media, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Minimum 3 years of experience managing social channels, ideally within a media, radio, or content-driven environment
Strong understanding of key social platforms and their evolving ecosystems
Skilled in graphic and video editing tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or mobile equivalents
Proven track record in community management and organic growth
Experience running paid campaigns and interpreting ROI
Analytical mindset with the ability to generate and present actionable insights
Passion for content, culture, and storytelling – especially within podcasting or live media
Confident communicator, both written and verbal
Highly organised and self-motivated
