A luxury travel company based in Edinburgh seeks a Bilingual Social Media Manager to enhance brand presence in English and Chinese markets. The role involves creating social media strategies, managing content across platforms, and monitoring performance. Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Bilingual Social Media Manager to oversee and develop social media strategies that enhance our brand presence in both English and Chinese-speaking markets. This is a pivotal role offering the opportunity to shape our public persona, drive business growth, and engage a diverse client base within the luxury travel sector.
Key Responsibilities
1. Social Media & PR Strategy
• Collaborate closely with senior management to discuss business strategies, products, services, and target client profiles, identifying the specific public relations and social media requirements for both English and Chinese audiences to drive awareness, engagement, and brand loyalty.
2. Content Creation & Distribution
• Creating and manage the content for all social media platforms (including WeChat, Weibo, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn) and other public relations materials. Ensure timely and effective distribution of digital content, maximizing reach and relevance across targeted channels.
3. Brand Promotion & Engagement
• Represent RG Holidays at meetings, industry events, media interviews, and roadshow promotions, strengthening connections with individuals, clients, and key target groups in both Western and Asian markets.
4. Performance Monitoring & Analysis
• Develop and utilize reporting and analytics tools to monitor social media marketing performance, evaluating campaign effectiveness and audience response.
• Deliver regular insights and recommendations based on data to optimize strategies, improve campaign performance, and increase conversion rates.

Requirements
Essential:
• Fluency in both Chinese and English (written and spoken) to effectively serve our diverse client base.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Significant experience in marketing within the travel industry, with a proven record of successful bilingual social media campaigns.
• Strong digital marketing acumen, with hands-on experience in social media management (including platforms popular in China and the West) and content creation (graphics, video, and copywriting).
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present data-driven insights clearly to stakeholders.
• Deep understanding of both Western and Asian travel markets, consumer behavior, and industry trends.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to represent and advocate for RG Holidays’ brand values.
