Role overview:

We are seeking a talented Social Media Manager to lead our digital presence and community engagement. You will be responsible for creating compelling content, building our online community, and translating complex topics into accessible, engaging social media content that drives meaningful results.

Key responsibilities:

  • Content Creation & Management
  • Create, schedule and manage content across social media platforms
  • Repurpose existing materials into engaging social media formats
  • Translate complex topics into accessible, shareable posts
  • Community Engagement & Growth
  • Monitor channels and respond to comments and messages promptly
  • Engage with relevant industry conversations and implement organic growth strategies
  • Build meaningful connections with influencers, followers and partners
  • Strategic Planning & Analysis
  • Track industry trends and news for content opportunities
  • Collaborate to align social media with business objectives
  • Analyse performance metrics and provide regular reports with recommendations

Requirements

  • Experience & Skills
    • Proven track record in social media management with demonstrable success in audience growth
    • Strong content creation abilities with experience simplifying complex subjects
    • Proficiency with social media analytics tools and performance measurement
  • Personal Attributes
    • Highly organised with strong project management skills and ability to meet multiple deadlines
    • Proactive, creative problem-solver who can work independently
    • Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced start-up environment with evolving priorities
    • Genuine interest in mental health and neurodiversity advocacy
  • Practical Requirements
    • Right to work in the UK
    • Available for a minimum 2 days per week in our Bristol office
    • DBS check (we will support you through this process)
