McBride Sport is recruiting on behalf of Ascot for a creative and driven Social Media Manager to lead content for QIPCO British Champions Day, the prestigious finale to the UK flat racing season.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading the social media strategy for British Champions Series (BCS), including QIPCO British Champions Day, Club 26 and the Hall of Fame
Planning and overseeing content production, from concept to delivery
Managing daily relationships with social and digital agencies
Creating engaging, on-brand content to grow and energise audiences
Running community management and reactive engagement across all platforms
Working closely with partners and stakeholders to bring racing and lifestyle stories to life
Tracking social growth and content performance
Managing budgets and delivering against clear KPIs
The ideal candidate will have:
A genuine interest in horse racing – or previous experience working in the sport – is highly desirable
Proven experience in a social media management role
Strong working knowledge of TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter), and YouTube
Excellent writing skills and an eye for detail
Experience overseeing content shoots and working with creators
Confidence managing agencies and collaborating with stakeholders
Flexibility for UK travel as required
