About the role

We are seeking a Social Media and Influencer Executive to join our Brand and Marketing team on a 12-month parental leave cover. You will support the delivery of customer-facing content across Owned, Earned, and Paid Social Media channels, including influencer and content creator activities. Collaborating with internal teams at Tesco and external agencies, you will help execute projects and campaigns effectively.

You will be responsible for
  1. Supporting the implementation of Social, Influencer, and Content plans for clothing.
  2. Assisting in the day-to-day management of social media platforms, ensuring consistent brand tone of voice and community engagement.
  3. Coordinating content production and optimization for key channels.
  4. Supporting the management of Clothing editorial content.
  5. Collaborating with the Media Planning Team on paid media budgets and social media campaigns.
  6. Executing influencer marketing strategies, including influencer identification, campaign management, and performance tracking.
  7. Liaising with influencer agencies to support content creation and campaign standards.
  8. Contributing to brand campaigns through influencer marketing activities.
  9. Ensuring all content aligns with brand tone and positioning.
  10. Tracking and reporting campaign performance, providing insights for improvements.
  11. Managing budgets at the project level for efficient resource allocation.
  12. Building strong relationships with internal teams and external partners.
  13. Adhering to Tesco's Business Code of Conduct with integrity and diligence.
You will need
  • Understanding of Data and Insights.
  • Commercial awareness and budget management skills.
  • Knowledge of content production workflows.
  • Experience with paid and owned social media channels.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Experience working with agencies or stakeholders.
