Don't be afraid to include the more left field examples either.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and deliver social marketing content which supports strategic objectives and communication plans
  • Work with the Social Media Manager to develop original ideas and regular formats
  • Develop our channel brand on Instagram and Facebook in collaboration with creative content team
  • Support our Social Media Community Moderator to moderate channels
  • Liaise with PR and media teams to stay updated on current affairs which may impact on channel engagement
  • Work with the wider social team to implement social media strategy

Essential skills, knowledge and experience:

  • Proven ability creating video content for Instagram or other social platforms
  • Proven ability to come up with unique and original ideas
  • Passion and empathy for the audience perspective
  • High attention to detail with strong organisational skills
  • Assertive and resourceful with a proven track record of getting things done

Desirable skills, knowledge and experience:

  • Worked in either the charity or conservation sectors
  • Social media moderation
  • Video editing and production
  • Presenting and/or interviewing
  • Science communication
  • Comedy
