Job summary

Zealous Agency are seeking a creative, social-first Social Media Executive to join a brand-new Brand & Social Media team. You will drive social presence for two leading UK retail brands, crafting content across multiple platforms and staying ahead of trends.

You’ll be hands-on with content creation, editing, and distribution, including reels and short-form video, while collaborating closely with internal teams and partners to deliver impactful campaigns.

Qualifications

• Experience creating, managing and scheduling content across platforms including Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.
• Strong social copywriting, content creation and video editing skills.
• Confidence both in front of and behind the camera.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who lives and breathes social — from spotting the next TikTok trend to creating scroll-stopping Reels, building engaged communities and bringing campaigns to life.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll play a hands‑on role in delivering social activity across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube and LinkedIn, including:

• Creating and editing engaging social content, from graphics and copy to Reels and short-form video.
• Planning and scheduling content around campaigns, product launches and key seasonal moments.
• Getting involved behind and in front of the camera to create authentic, entertaining content.
• Keeping on top of social trends, cultural moments and influencer activity — and turning them into great content.
• Working closely with internal teams and creative agency partners to bring ideas to life.
• Using social performance data and insights to optimise content and grow engagement.
• Supporting the development of the social strategy across two established and recognisable brands.

Experience Needed

We’re looking for someone who is creative, proactive and genuinely passionate about social media, with:

• Experience creating, managing and scheduling content across platforms including Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.
• Strong social copywriting, content creation and video editing skills.
• Confidence both in front of and behind the camera.
• A strong understanding of social trends, influencer marketing and platform best practice.
• Excellent organisation skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines.
