Basic Pay £30,195, plus Inner London weighting £6,705,bonus potential with 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays, increasing to 28 days after 10 years service,and a company pension scheme with highly competitive contribution rates

This is a hybrid working role with a requirement to attend our London Farringdon office, and national travel for content creation, with flexibility is required in line with business needs. This is a full time role over a 4 day week (Mon – Fri)

Reporting into the Content Manager, you’ll work with creative and commercial teams to implement the social media strategy, leveraging your social media skills to drive meaningful results in this dynamic, fast-paced environment! About the role


Content Creation
• Assist with the production and publishing of short and long-form video content. Helping to organise and coordinate video shoots (with travel to various locations), ensuring all content is reviewed with the team before getting final approval from stakeholders.
• Tap into your creativity to help develop innovative video content that not only drives awareness of our brand but also showcases the variety of products we offer, capturing attention and sparking engagement.
• We’ll need you to be confident and comfortable in front of the camera as a Royal Mail brand ambassador, delivering exciting business updates and product developments in a way that connects with our audience and builds trust with the brand.
• Assist in creating engaging static content for our social media channels, including graphics, photography and writing post copy and captions. Working closely with key teams to ensure content aligns with key campaigns, product updates and messages. Help identify what and when to post to maximize impact.

Asset Development: Work alongside the Content Team to help develop and finalise assets for campaigns, ensuring everything is on brand and ready for use across various platforms.

Publishing Content: Help manage and update the social media content calendar, ensuring it’s up-to-date and ready for weekly team meetings and reviews.

Trends: Stay informed of the latest social media trends and platform updates, helping to integrate these insights into future content creation and keeping the team aware of new opportunities.

Influencer Partnerships: Assist in identifying and working with influencers to create content that helps raise awareness of our brand and products. Help manage feedback, invoicing, and payments to ensure smooth collaborations.

Content Performance & Reporting: Help monitor the performance of organic content across our social channels, compiling reports on key metrics and sharing insights.

Social Listening: Contribute to social listening efforts by tracking keywords and brand sentiment - identifying new content opportunities through conversations and trends, helping to shape future content and community engagement.

Community Management: Support community management by engaging with customer comments and messages, ensuring responses are timely and aligned with the brand's tone of voice, and assist in identifying ways to improve the community management processes, including exploring the use of automated responses and AI to increase efficiency while maintaining a personalised touch.

About you
To truly excel in role, you will possess the necessary skills and experience listed below –

Key Skills
• Strong attention to detail, self-motivated with good time management and organisation skills is essential
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with key stakeholders
• Strong understanding of Facebook, TikTok, Instagram Reels, LinkedIn & YouTube. With the ability to create engaging and shareable content tailored to different audiences.
• A creative mindset with an eye for trends and storytelling with the confidence to provide recommendations on creative content.
• Comfortable appearing on camera and being a face of the brand.
• Competent using a mobile phone to film content and edit using various editing tools e.g., Adobe, or editing in Capcut/TikTok
• Results orientated to drive improvements in social performance.
• Full of passion, energy and enthusiasm

Experience
• Experience and understanding of all the main social media platforms – especially TikTok.
• Experience in social media content creation (video editing, copywriting, and graphic design)
• Developing, creating and publishing social media content.
• Experience of social media management tools (preferably Sprinklr and Sprout)
• Existing experience of Social Media content creation on personal or other brand accounts is desirable

Qualifications
• Marketing qualifications desirable
• Competent ability with Adobe Creative Cloud
