Social Media Executive

Salary: up to £25,000

Location: remote

About Us:

Pepper Agency is a social-first agency helping brands become influencers. We specialise in crafting engaging campaigns rooted in culture, driving real results through organic social, TikTok, Instagram, and UGC. We're a fast-growing team with an exciting mix of clients across the UK and US.

Role Overview:

We’re looking for a highly organised, detail-driven Social Media Executive to support our organic social offering across multiple accounts. This is a hands-on role that’s perfect for someone who’s passionate about social media and enjoys the behind-the-scenes coordination that makes great content happen.

You’ll take ownership of the day-to-day admin and delivery across key clients. From sourcing UGC creators to managing deliverables and making sure content meets quality standards, you’ll be the glue that holds the organic social process together.

Clients:

You’ll work across an exciting portfolio of brands in the UK and USA - including drink brands, wellness clients, and food & travel accounts - giving you plenty of creative variety and room to grow.

Key Responsibilities:

UGC Creator Management:

  • Research and identify UGC creators aligned with client brand and tone
  • Manage outreach, contracting, and onboarding of creators
  • Track deliverables and deadlines across multiple accounts
  • Brief creators clearly and ensure high-quality content is submitted on time
  • Maintain up-to-date trackers and folders for all assets and comms
  • Maintaining a database of creators across niches and verticals

Content Coordination:

  • Ensure all live content is scheduled, posted, and backed up correctly
  • Check and review all UGC for platform-native quality, sound use, and brand fit
  • Liaise with creators to implement feedback and revisions

Content Creation & Editing

  • Create short-form videos using existing UGC, client assets, or self-shot content
  • Edit TikToks and Reels using tools like CapCut
  • Add trending sounds, on-screen text, captions, and brand elements
  • Assist with shoot planning, basic filming, and organising raw footage

General Account Support:

  • Own the admin side of each organic social account
  • Join internal check-ins and client calls where relevant

Creative Support

  • Help draft captions and CTAs in line with brand tone
  • Support shoot prep and logistics on larger projects
  • Contribute creative ideas

About you:

  • Highly organised and self-motivated - you love a tracker or a colour-coded to-do list
  • Detail-obsessed - you’ll spot a blurry thumbnail or a missed deadline a mile off
  • Passionate about social media and excited to work with creators and brands
  • Comfortable managing multiple moving parts across multiple accounts
  • Positive, proactive, and comfortable communicating with both clients and creators

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience working in an agency or content-creator environment (bonus points if you’re a creator yourself!)
  • Familiarity with UGC and social media trends
  • Knowledge of tools like Canva, CapCut, Google Docs, Sheets, Slides

Why Join Pepper Agency?

  • Work closely with a growing team and gain exposure to a wide range of clients
  • Be trusted to own and run key parts of delivery from day one
  • Learn the ropes of UGC, organic strategy, and creator management
  • Work flexibly, with a mix of remote and in-person creative days
  • Grow quickly in a supportive, creative environment

Perks of Working at Pepper

  • 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays (with extra days for long service)
  • Fully remote with £300 home office budget once you pass probation
  • Work from anywhere - plus a £100 yearly trave allowance
  • Early finish Fridays - log off from 3:30pm
  • Annual bonus & commission opportunities
  • Quarterly team meetups
