AMAZING NEWS…. We are recruiting a Social Media Queen/ King to join our growing team at G.Digital (slayy!)

Leeds city centre / Hybrid £25K–£33K DOE | Fun, fast-paced & full of purpose

G.Digital isn’t your average tech recruitment company. Founded by Recruitment Leader of the Year, Georgie Lynskey – who’s fresh off the Goldman Sachs programme and frequently spotted at the House of Lords (), we’re scaling nationally, launching a brand-new platform, and rolling out a brand new shiny new website.

We’re also the creators of G&T (girls & tech!) – our sister brand and powerhouse community for women in tech. Think sold-out events, champagne launches, and a serious mission: getting more women hired into brilliant tech roles (#GIRLPOWER!)

So, what’s the role?

We’re on the hunt for a Social Media Exec who lives and breathes social media. You’ll be the creative brain behind our LinkedIn, TikTok and Insta, bringing energy, professionalism and FUN to everything we post.

Your day-to-day:

  • Filming & editing Reels (behind-the-scenes, event footage, interviews with senior leaders & founders… we want to stand out, so the more creative the better!)
  • Taking full ownership of LinkedIn, Instagram & TikTok (will need to build TikTok from scratch)
  • Confident on the mic and in front of the camera
  • Working closely with our wonderful Community Manager, Bex to help drive traffic to our brand new website (launching v soon )
  • Helping Bex with creative campaigns and bespoke packages for our partners (maternity benchmarking reports/ gender pay gap/ DE&I best employers)
  • Contributing ideas to our overall marketing strategy and executing social media campaigns
  • Algorithm obsessed- keeping up to date with trends and knowing when to post to for maximum coverage
  • Trend-spotting and turning fresh ideas into scroll-stopping content that packs a PUNCH!
  • Helping out at our famous G&T events and networking with some of the most inspiring women in tech (our community is a DREAM- you will love them )

You’ll thrive here if you’re:

  • A creative all-rounder with strong video & editing skills and a good eye for aesthetics
  • Have demonstratable experience of building social media accounts by producing quality organic content (we’re not vanity queens and don’t want to ‘go viral’ for the sake of gaining empty likes)
  • Have worked in a start-up/ small agency type business previously (not essential but handy!)
  • Equally comfortable casually chatting on Stories/ TikTok but also working with senior stakeholders (authenticity is KEY but knowing how to tailor your approach to suit the tone is essential)
  • Proactive, positive and up for anything
  • A self-starter who genuinely loves social and wants to make a difference through it
