Wagamama - Social Media & Events Manager

We’re looking for a Social Media + Events Manager to join us on our journey of true nourishment.

Purpose

This role is responsible for ensuring we remain top of mind, generating more buzz, talkability, and brand fame than ever before across social media and events. The goal is to drive footfall to our restaurants and delivery app to grow covers and LFL sales. You will work closely with the Senior Paid Media & PR Manager to ensure campaigns are fully integrated across all channels for maximum impact.

Key Accountabilities

Social Media Management

  • Develop and execute our annual and quarterly social media strategy and plan.
  • Define the channels we operate on, set goals, and create content and calendar plans weekly and monthly.
  • Brief content requirements to the creative team, ensuring relevance to channels and strategy.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of social strategies and plans monthly.
  • Manage the 365 agency daily, lead Monthly Business Reviews (MBR), and attend Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) with the marketing director and CMCO.

Event Management

  • Create and execute our event marketing plan in collaboration with agency partners.

Key Requirements

  • Strong project management skills.
  • Creative thinking and high attention to detail.
  • Excellent cross-functional team collaboration and communication skills.
  • Campaign management experience, including activation of high-spend multi-channel media campaigns.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate, upskill, and support two direct reports.
  • Confidence and experience in presenting.
  • Agency and partnership management experience.
  • Strong commercial acumen.
