Job description

About the Role: The College of Psychic Studies is seeking a Social Media & Digital Coordinator to lead the creation and delivery of content across our digital platforms and support the smooth running of our online events. This role includes managing social media content, supporting digital campaigns, and ensuring our tone and presence remain consistent and aligned with the College’s mission. It also involves administering Zoom for online events — setting up links, introducing talks, and training presenters on the platform.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Social Media & Digital Content Management:
    1. Plan, write, and schedule content across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and other relevant platforms.
    2. Monitor and respond to engagement (messages, comments, tags) across all channels.
    3. Collaborate with tutors and team members to generate visual and written content.
    4. Maintain the College’s tone of voice and visual identity across all communications.
    5. Create engaging, brand-aligned campaigns to promote events, courses, and news.
    6. Analyse performance and produce regular reports.
    7. Manage and expand the College’s image and digital content library.
    8. Take and archive photographs of key moments and College life.
  2. Zoom & Event Platform Administration:
    1. Manage Zoom and any other digital event platforms used.
    2. Liaise with tutors and presenters to provide Zoom training where necessary.
    3. Set up and manage Zoom access/links for events, including co-host arrangements.
    4. Ensure live talks/demonstrations run smoothly, are introduced and closed professionally, and are recorded when appropriate.
    5. Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues during events.
  3. Video & Audio Editing:
    1. Edit video content from events and demonstrations for on-demand and marketing use.
    2. Upload content to YouTube and College platforms where appropriate.
    3. Archive and store recordings for future paid or promotional use.
  4. Website & Newsletter Support:
    1. Support the wider team in uploading course and event content to the website when needed.
    2. Support in drafting and formatting digital newsletters and campaigns when required.
We’re looking for someone who is:
  1. A confident communicator with proven experience in professional social media management.
  2. Skilled in using Canva.
  3. Comfortable writing across different formats and for different audiences.
  4. Experienced in CMS platforms and digital scheduling tools.
  5. Calm, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities at once.
  6. Genuinely interested in spirituality, with an open and curious mindset.
  7. A proactive, solutions-focused team player who can also work independently.
  8. Experienced in basic video/audio editing and online event facilitation.
  9. Happy to occasionally work evenings or weekends when events require.
Required Skills & Experience:
  1. At least one year in a similar digital communications or social media role.
  2. Knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and their respective algorithms.
  3. Familiarity with Zoom and online event delivery.
  4. Excellent organisation, attention to detail, and communication skills.
  5. Experience with audience engagement, digital analytics, and data handling (e.g., Meta Analytics, CRM systems).
  6. Interest in and sensitivity to the College’s subject areas.

  1. Canva.
  2. Zoom.
  3. Social media scheduling software (Later).
  4. Sheets / Excel.
  5. Google Analytics.
  6. CRM and website CMS platforms.
