This is our first hire in this area, and you will have a range of leadership responsibilities. You will oversee the social media presence of Trustie, guiding our community engagement and brand representation. This role offers numerous opportunities for growth as we expand our team and scale our operations. You will have the chance to shape our social media strategy from the ground up and lead a team in the future.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media & Content Creation (50%) Develop and execute a content strategy for TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. Help write and create high-quality, engaging short-form and long-form content, including: Trustie Money Playbook (educational guides), social media posts, video scripts, and community discussions. Ensure all content is on-brand, resonates with our target demographic (18-30s), and is visually appealing. Use Canva and Figma to create social media templates (though no in-depth design work is required).
Community Management (30%) Act as the voice of Trustie in early community building, responding to DMs, comments, and discussions. Engage directly with users to understand their financial pain points and suggest content ideas to help them. Develop interactive campaigns, Q&As, and challenges to increase engagement.
Influencer Relationship Management (20%) Identify and reach out to micro- and macro-influencers in the personal finance, lifestyle, and Gen Z creator space. Manage relationships with influencers, coordinating content collaborations and brand partnerships. Work closely with our performance marketing team to measure the success of influencer-led campaigns.
What We're Looking For
Proven track record of growing engaged social communities (especially on TikTok & Instagram).
A strong understanding of financial literacy trends or the ability to research and present complex topics in a relatable, engaging way.
Experience using Canva, Figma, Meta Ads Manager, and Google Analytics.
Comfortable working autonomously in a startup environment, adaptable and solutions-focused.
A strong sense of what resonates visually with Gen Z & Millennial audiences (though you won't be doing the actual designs).
Ability to analyze social media performance and optimize content for better engagement.
