Job description

Big brands. Bold content. Brilliant opportunities. Your social media career starts getting exciting here.

Love creating content that makes people stop scrolling?

Got an eye for a great Reel, a flair for writing captions and a passion for all things social?

Already had a taste of working in social media and ready to take your skills to the next level?

We want to hear from you.

We're looking for a Social Media Assistant to join our team in Glasgow, helping create scroll-stopping content and exciting social campaigns for some of the UK's best-known brands.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with hands-on experience in social media, content creation or digital marketing who's ready to get creative, build their skills and make their mark in a fast-paced, supportive agency environment.

You'll be part of a friendly, ambitious team where fresh ideas are encouraged, creativity is celebrated and no two days are quite the same.

What you'll be doing

From dreaming up content ideas to bringing them to life on screen, you'll get stuck into all things social, including:

  • Creating scroll-stopping content: Shooting and editing short-form videos, capturing content on your phone and creating engaging graphics using Canva.
  • Finding the right words: Drafting catchy captions and creative copy that capture each brand's personality, tone of voice and message.
  • Planning ahead: Helping develop, plan and schedule content calendars that keep our clients' social channels fresh, engaging and on brand.
  • Bringing ideas to life: Supporting creative social campaigns, brainstorming content ideas and getting involved in influencer and brand partnership activity.
  • Building brilliant relationships: Working closely with clients, getting to know their brands and helping deliver social content they're proud of.
  • Keeping the conversation going: Supporting community management, helping respond to comments and messages and keeping audiences engaged.
  • Staying ahead of the scroll: Keeping up with the latest social trends, platform updates and viral moments, and spotting opportunities for our clients.
  • Making an impact: Supporting social media reporting, tracking content performance and helping the team understand what's working and what could work even better.
A little about you

You don't need to be an expert in everything (that's what we're here to help with!), but we'd love you to bring:

  • Some professional experience in social media, content creation or digital marketing – whether that's in an agency, in-house role, internship or placement.
  • A portfolio of social media content you've created – we'd love to see examples of your work, from Reels and TikToks to graphics, captions and campaigns.
  • A creative eye and hands-on experience creating, shooting and editing social-first content, particularly short-form video using your phone.
  • Confidence using Canva to create engaging social media graphics and visual content.
  • Strong copywriting skills, a knack for writing engaging captions and excellent attention to detail.
  • A good understanding of platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and LinkedIn, and what makes content work across different channels.
  • Confidence communicating with clients, building relationships and working collaboratively with others.
  • Great organisational skills and the ability to juggle content calendars, multiple projects and deadlines.
  • A genuine passion for social media, digital trends and creating content that gets people talking.
  • A proactive, can-do attitude and a willingness to get stuck in, share ideas, learn and grow.
  • Experience using social media scheduling, analytics or reporting tools is a bonus, but we're just as interested in your creativity, enthusiasm and potential.
