Role Overview

We’re on the hunt for a dynamic, creative, and ambitious Social Media & PR Executive to join our in‑house team. Whether you’ve already spent a couple of years building your skills in a similar role, or you’re coming from an agency background and ready to make your mark in‑house, this is a chance to take ownership, unleash your creativity, and help shape the voice of a leading sports nutrition brand. You’ll bring a passion for health, fitness, and nutrition, with a finger on the pulse of the latest trends and platforms. In this B2C‑focused role, you’ll lead social media strategy and content creation, while building strong relationships with media, influencers, and brand ambassadors. You’ll also support B2B activity, contribute to wider marketing strategies, and track campaign performance as part of our collaborative brand team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generating media coverage: Managing a busy press office, leveraging existing media contacts and building new ones to maintain and extend Warrior’s presence in target media publications through a proactive media approach including product placement, expert commentary and brand news and campaigns.
  • Social Media Management: Developing and executing social media strategies, creating engaging content, managing social media channels, scheduling posts, community management and monitoring social media performance.
  • Strategy and Implementation: Assisting in the development and execution of PR and social campaigns and identifying opportunities.
  • Content Creation: Creating various types of content, including social media posts, press releases and expert commentary.
  • Media Monitoring: Staying up-to-date on industry news and trends, monitoring media coverage, and analysing campaign performance.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with other marketing team members to align social media and PR efforts.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and providing regular reports on social media and PR campaign performance.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Media relations: 2+ years’ experience in a PR and social media role. Proven experience in consumer communications, particularly product placement (preferably within sports, fitness, or consumer lifestyle industries).
  • Media knowledge: excellent knowledge of the UK media landscape and digital platforms.
  • Copywriting: Strong copywriting and storytelling skills with the ability to adapt tone across platforms.
  • Influencer management: Solid understanding and experience in influencer marketing.
  • Creativity: Creative mindset with an eye for visuals, design, and video trends to develop engaging and innovative content.
  • Organisation: Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and ability to adapt to changing trends and priorities in the social media and PR landscape.
  • Collaboration: a proactive can‑do attitude and commitment to delivering excellent work, and contributing to a positive team environment.
  • Passion for sports, fitness, and/or nutrition is highly desirable.
