About The Role

We now have an opportunity for a Social Media and Digital Content Coordinator on a 2-year fixed term basis to create, edit and produce digital content, particularly videography optimised for our online communications channels.

The key focus of the role is the production and creative support of digital content assets, visual and written, under the direction of the Corporate Communications strategy.

Key Responsibilities Will Include

  • Drafting written content optimised for Diamonds social media channels
  • Photography / Video creation for Diamond to support daily social media content
  • Designing brand-relevant digital content templates under the guidance of the Corporate Communications Team Manager
  • Videography creation and editing to support events and engagement activities
  • Supporting the corporate communications team with social media community management and engagement
  • Monitoring comments and conversations online
  • Identifying and tagging relevant accounts and organisations for interaction
  • Researching and suggesting new online opportunities
  • Producing regular reporting and analysis of online platforms and performance
  • Assisting colleagues in the engagement team with event support and digital content creation
  • Attending events and Open Days where appropriate

About You

The successful candidate will have a Bachelors degree, equivalent or relevant experience.

We are looking for someone with experience writing content for social media, with strong working knowledge of photography and visual asset creation.

You will demonstrate excellent presentation and communication skills with the ability to make information accessible to non-scientific audiences in an engaging way.

Candidates will be capable users of MS Office software, and in particular Outlook and access packages. Working knowledge of Canva, Photoshop, Adobe creative suite is desirable.
