Location: Macclesfield - hybrid working

We’re a creative agency spread across eight acres of countryside in Cheshire, and the rumours are true, we also have a pub, bistro and gym all on-site. McCann Manchester is a big family - the largest integrated agency in the UK in fact.

We work with some of the UK’s most interesting brands and we’re looking for a Social Media Account Manager to come and join us. Armbands optional.

The Part You’ll Play…

We are currently looking for an experienced Social Media Account Manager to join our great team of specialists. This award winning team is fully integrated within the wider agency and will offer you the opportunity to work on an instantly recognisable brand. The client have ambitious plans for their Social Media activity and you'll play a key role in bringing this to life.

As Social Media Account Manager you will be need be a keen relationship builder, working with multiple stakeholders for a key client whilst also building effective internal relationships with the wider agency departments including our Digital Media, Creative and Production teams. You'll be responsible for devising earned and paid Social Media strategies for clients, utilising the wealth of tools and platforms at our disposal to ensure our clients lead the conversation online.

As Social Media Account Manager You’ll Bring…

Minimum Requirements

• Experience operating at a similar level previously with advanced client management and relationship building skills. Agency experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
• Experience of Social community management and Content creation (copywriting, creative thinking and design software).
• A genuine passion for Social Media and in depth understanding of the opportunities Social can offer brands.
• Excellent organisational and multi-tasking abilities.
• The ability to work collaboratively and enthuse others
