Job summary

Daniel Owen Ltd in Hackney is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to work across social housing properties in Hackney (East London). This permanent role offers long-term stability, progression and excellent earning potential with a base salary of £42,038, plus OTE up to £55,000–£70,000.

You will carry out repairs, installations, maintenance and testing, complete EICRs, fault finding, upgrades and ensure work is performed to BS 7671 standards, delivering high-quality service to tenants.

Qualifications

• Level 2/Level 3 Electrical Engineering qualification is essential.
• AM2 qualification (Gold Card eligible) preferred.
• Experience in social housing, domestic maintenance, EICR testing or repairs.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical repairs, installations, maintenance and testing in social housing properties.
• Complete EICRs, remedials, fault finding, upgrades, first and second fix work.
• Work safely in line with BS 7671 and all electrical standards.
• Deliver high-quality, customer-focused service to tenants.
• Maintain accurate job records and documentation.
