Role Overview

We’re looking for a Social Growth Manager to help turn our early viral success into a repeatable, high-performance growth engine. In the past 12 months, we’ve grown 10X to 1 million learners a month and generated over 200 million organic views across TikTok and Instagram. Now we’re ready to scale that momentum even further.

You will work directly with the founders and wider marketing team to craft and execute our social content strategy, scale our ambassador programme and build a new wave of creators and influencers who represent Gizmo.

This role is perfect for a creative, self-starting content expert who wants to help shape and expand a brand that is already culturally relevant within online learning communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and test creative strategies including hooks, formats and storytelling ideas that drive growth
  • Launch and scale a high-impact user-generated content (UGC) strategy across TikTok and Instagram
  • Source, coach, and manage creators and brand ambassadors to generate a consistent flow of viral content
  • Own influencer partnerships, including outreach, deal negotiation, creative briefs and performance tracking
  • Share user and content insights with product teams to help shape new features

You should have a proven track record of success in social content and community growth, especially on TikTok and Instagram:

  • You’ve personally created videos which have hit 1-million+ views, or you’ve managed campaigns that have hit 3m+ views
  • You understand social algorithms and what drives engagement
  • You have a strong grasp of TikTok and Instagram trends and know how to use them to create compelling content
  • You know how to give constructive creative feedback and direction
  • You’re hands-on, proactive and excited by ambitious growth goals

  • You have grown or managed accounts with at least 10,000+ followers
