Role Purpose

We're looking for a curious, culturally attuned and insight-driven thinker to join our Social Media Strategy team as a Social Data Strategist. This role is ideal for someone who's passionate about understanding audiences, spotting trends, and using social data to shape creative and strategic thinking.

You'll help uncover what makes people tick online—translating platform behaviors, conversations, and performance metrics into actionable insights that guide brand storytelling, content development, and campaign strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Social Listening & Conversation Analysis

  • Monitor online conversations to uncover sentiment, share of voice, and emerging themes.
  • Identify cultural signals and audience reactions that can inform brand positioning and creative direction.

Audience & Community Insights

  • Explore audience interests, behaviors, and affinities across platforms.
  • Help build audience personas and map out passion points that drive engagement.

Strategic Reporting & Storytelling

  • Support the development of weekly, monthly, and campaign reports that go beyond numbers—telling a story about what's working, why, and what to do next.
  • Collaborate with strategists and creatives to turn insights into ideas.

Trendspotting & Cultural Intelligence

  • Track emerging trends, platform updates, and cultural moments that brands can tap into.
  • Share proactive inspiration with the wider team to fuel agile thinking and relevance.

Competitive & Industry Benchmarking

  • Keep tabs on competitor activity and industry best practices.
  • Surface opportunities for differentiation and innovation.

Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing

  • Act as a connector between data and strategy—ensuring teams are equipped with the latest insights and platform developments.
  • Contribute to brainstorms, creative reviews, and strategic planning sessions.
