Job summary

Talent Finder in Reading, Berkshire, is seeking a hands-on Lead Social Content Creator for organic and paid channels. The role demands independent conception, filming, editing and delivery of high-quality short-form content, shaping the creative direction with senior leaders.

You will develop concepts, produce content for TikTok/Instagram/YouTube Shorts, and drive performance with analytics. This is a path to Head of Content as the business grows, with a strong salary and bonus package.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional experience creating short-form social content.
• Exceptional understanding of social media, including what makes audiences stop scrolling and share content.
• Ability to independently conceive, film, edit and deliver professional, engaging short-form video content.
• Outstanding portfolio demonstrating content personally created, not just managed.
• Strong understanding of organic versus paid advertising and performance metrics.
• Excellent editing skills using professional software; strong filming ability with smartphones and camera-based production.
• Ability to develop original concepts, lead shoots and manage a demanding content calendar.

Responsibilities

• Independently conceive, film, edit and deliver professional short-form content.
• Create original content for TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.
• Develop concepts around hooks, storytelling, retention and shareability.
• Produce content for organic social media and paid advertising.
• Film and edit food, nightlife, entertainment, and lifestyle content.
• Lead content creation and manage a growing team of creators.
