Job summary

Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council is recruiting for a role to provide personal care, emotional and practical support to residents in a Registered Care Home setting. The role focuses on older people, those with dementia, and adults with learning or physical disabilities, in a homely environment that promotes dignity and wellbeing.

You will be expected to meet essential qualification requirements as stated, and Welsh language ability is desirable.

Job description

To provide personal care, emotional and practical support to people with identified care and support needs within a Registered Care Home setting.

This includes older people, people with a diagnosis of dementia and/or adults with a learning or physical disability within an environment that enables supports and maintains a homely atmosphere ensuring that the rights, dignity, diversity, independence, and wellbeing of individuals are promoted and maintained.

You will be required to provide evidence of all qualifications specified as essential.

Ability to speak Welsh is desirable.
