Job description

This is an exciting opportunity within the Occupational Therapy team to support our local communities as a bank “Occupational Therapy Social Care Worker”. You will work alongside Occupational Therapists to support in the assessment and support of customers known to Adult Social Care. You will work in a strength-based, customer-focused way to understand the needs of the individual and to develop appropriate support to enable them to live as independently and happily as possible.

Who we are looking for…

We are seeking individuals with experience in Adult Social Care who can provide advice and guidance, with knowledge of Disabled Facilities Grants, Minor Aids and Adaptations, and Care Act eligibility.

We want team members who are strength-based, holistic, community-focused, and capable of exploring rehabilitative, compensatory, and adaptive approaches prior to issuing equipment. They should be able to articulate their reasoning and approach clearly.

You will excel at building positive relationships with partners and colleagues, ensuring the safety of customers and teams, supporting an empowered workforce, and promoting strength-based, person-centred interventions.
