Are you interested in working for the largest local authority in Scotland, in partnership with the NHS, to help improve the health and wellbeing of our community? Then, you are in the right place!
The Diversion from Prosecution (DfP) process involves the Procurator Fiscal (PF) referring individuals to their Local Authority to address underlying causes of alleged offending behavior, as an alternative to court proceedings.
DfP aims to deliver effective, prompt interventions that promote rehabilitation, prevent further offending, and reassure victims and the public. Benefits include supporting individuals with issues contributing to offending, early intervention to reduce reoffending, swift resolution, and avoiding criminal convictions that could impact life chances.
These roles are exempt under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exclusions and Exceptions) (Scotland) Order 2013 (as amended).
Interviews are expected to take place in May 2025.
