A public health organization in Exeter is seeking a dedicated Social Care Reablement Occupational Therapist to assess and support individuals with disabilities. You will manage a caseload, provide person-centered interventions, and work collaboratively within a dynamic team to promote independence. The role entails flexibility in working arrangements and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
We are looking to recruit aself-motivated Band 6 Occupational Therapistwith excellent goal-setting and communication skills to join our friendly, supportive, and experienced team.
You will be the sole Occupational therapist supported by an experienced Occupational therapy assistant covering East Devon.

TheEastern Social Care Reablement teamis based atGreat Moor House in Exeter, supporting individuals across East and Mid Devon, including rural communities, towns, and the city of Exeter. We are a dynamic and supportive team made up ofOccupational Therapists, Reablement Team Leaders and Reablement Support Workers, working collaboratively to promote independence and recovery.
We work closely withNHS colleagues, other adult social care teams, housing providers, and community servicesto deliver timely, person-centred interventions. Our assessments are carried outface-to-face in peoples homes, as well asvirtually or by telephone, depending on the needs and preferences of the individual.
Our focus is onshort-term, strengths-based interventionsthat empower people to regain skills and confidence following illness, injury, or changes in circumstanceshelping them to live as independently as possible.
